How the Service Works
TempMail uses the mail.tm API to provision real, functional email addresses on dedicated mail server infrastructure. When you click "Generate," our system creates a new account instantly and gives you a token to access its inbox.
Our Next.js server acts as a secure proxy — your browser never talks directly to the mail API, which means your IP address is not exposed to the upstream service. Rate limiting on our API routes prevents abuse and keeps the service available for everyone.
A Note on Advertising
TempMail is free and will stay free. To cover server and maintenance costs, we display advertisements through Google AdSense. Ads are clearly labeled and we do not allow pop-ups or auto-playing video ads. You can review how advertising data is used in our Privacy Policy.
